Gary Moore Tribute Guitar Lesson Parisienne Walkways (ST-327 Part 1)

Fri, Dec 9, 2011

My tribute guitar lesson for the Gary Moore song Parisienne Walkways, one of his biggest hits from the 1979 album Back On The Streets. This lesson covers the rhythm guitar parts, chords and picking stuff. The next one will do the lead parts. Gary Moore is one of those players that will go down in history as one of the greatest and was a hugely influential guitar player in the Blues Rock genre. I’m still feeling sad writing this… he went too soon, I’d like to think he’s somewhere jamming with Phil Lynott and Rory Gallagher someplace awesome…

Part 3 of 3 taught by Desi Serna author of Fretboard Theory. Visit www.Guitar-Music-Theory.com and learn about scales, chords, progressions, modes and more.

This is the first lesson in a series of lesson looking at Blues Rhythm Guitar, an Intermediate Module. This lesson looks at a simple visual trick to get you playing a 12 Bar Blues in every and any key. It’s quite simple, but something I struggled with when I first started playing Blues rhythm which is why I’m starting the course with this – it’s absolutely essential that you understand this… I know I rambled a bit and repeated stuff, but it’s so important that I wanted to ensure it goes in :) The backing track is free on the web site!Full support at the justinguitar web site where you will find hundreds of lessons on a wide range of subjects, and all the scales and chords that you will ever need! There is a great forum too to get help, no matter what the problem. And it is all totally free, no bull. No sample lessons, no memberships. Just tons of great lessons :) To get help with your lesson look up the number at the start of the video title (like ST-666 or whatever) on the Lesson Index page. www.justinguitar.com Have fun .
